Intel will drop desktop CPU prices by 15% in face of AMD’s Rivalry

Recently Intel launched its 9th generation processor after the huge success of its predecessors.As soon as new processor hits market AMD, the rivalry of Intel launches its new family of processors “Ryzen 3000”. As such, intel is planning to slash their processors prices by 10-15%.

According to AMD’s testing their processor match with Intel’s processor in gaming but they beat Intel in content creations.

AMD’s Ryzen 3000

According to AMD, their new processors are based on new zen 2 micro architecture which offers great performance which is also equivalent to Intel’s new processors. The processors offer lower power consumption and come with PCIe 4.0 support.

Ryzen’s next generation processors, Ryzen 9 3900X comes in a $499 (approx.) while its rival Intel Core i9 is as equivalent to its price with Ryzen 7. But the other processor like Ryzen 5 3600X is slightly less in price than its rival Intel’s i5 processors.

The major differences between the prices of AMD and Intel is seems in higher end processors. According to sources the prices of the Core i9-9900K, the i7-9700K, and the i5-9600K, is slash by 25$-75$.
